Most young people in Kenya reach the internet through a phone, not a laptop. That single fact decides which artificial-intelligence tools are actually useful here, and which ones are a distraction.
A cooperative secretary who types minutes on a phone can dictate them instead. A tailor who wants a price list in Kiswahili and English can have one drafted in a minute. Neither task needs a paid subscription, and both save the kind of time that otherwise disappears in the evening.
The honest answer is that artificial intelligence rarely earns money on its own. It lowers the cost of work someone is already paying for — writing a proposal, drafting a contract, translating a product description, keeping a simple set of books. The income comes from the work, not from the tool.
Do not put member names, identity numbers or financial records into a free public tool. Treat anything you type there as if it were read aloud in a meeting. For cooperative records, keep the data on paper or in your own system and use the tool only for the wording.
