STRATEGIC IMPLEMENTATION GATEWAY

Handbooks, Workshops, and Sectors

This is the hub for everything Shirikiana offers directly — the handbooks you can buy today, the workshops and freelancer network already running, and the sector value chains we work across.

HOW OUR TRAINING WORKS

Training, delivered where teaching already happens

We do not run parallel training programmes. We design the curriculum, arrange the practical businesses that turn it into experience, and connect graduates to the network they will trade in. The teaching itself takes place inside partner institutions — schools, TVET centres, church and community organisations — which keep their students, their reputation and their income.

What participants gain is not a certificate and a job search. It is a running business, a registered cooperative, and a network that stays behind them afterwards.

Sectors & Value Chains

We work across six value chains where organising fragmented producers unlocks real bargaining power. Short teasers here — full depth lives in the upcoming Job Creation Opportunities handbook.

FUTURE-PROOF SKILLS

Smart Life, Smart Earn

The freelancer always keeps their own client — we never compete for it. Follow-on work a freelancer can’t take is passed to trusted partners in the consortium network, not absorbed by us.

IN PREPARATION

A Permaculture Programme with Universities

A permaculture programme designed to run on university-linked land, pairing agricultural research with vocational training so that the science produces skills and jobs, not only papers.

We are assembling it now: agricultural land partners in Germany, and delivery and training partners in Kenya.

ACADEMIC FOUNDATION

University partners bring research capacity and identify emerging technologies cooperatives can adopt.

VOCATIONAL TRAINING

Training runs alongside the research, so the science produces skills and jobs, not just papers.

LAND ACTIVATION

We bring land, funding and academic partners together and do the majority of the grant work.

Where it stands: no agreement is in place yet. We are in conversation with universities in Kenya and in Germany, and with landowners. We will name partners here only once they have agreed to be named.

Ready to Build the Future?

The same shape — train, serve a first real client, then ongoing back-office support — is the template for every workshop we run next, including further AI and media skills tracks.

Shirikiana

Shirikiana —> to work with one another. The founding values of the cooperative movement, self-help, self-responsibility and solidarity, remain the most practical basis for collective enterprise. We join knowledge, applied action and ethical responsibility in member-owned, member-governed enterprise, guided by the International Cooperative Alliance’s principle of concern for community. We proceed incrementally, attribute every partner by name, and distinguish demonstrated capacity from stated intent.
